The Judith Yohay Glaser Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a scholarship fund at Brandeis University in honor of Judith Yohay Glaser, Class of 1959.
A Note from the Co-Founders
We are Daniel and Rachel Rutstein, the grandchildren of Judith Yohay Glaser. On August 21, 2019, our grandmother lost her battle to pancreatic cancer, and we have co-founded the Judith Yohay Glaser Scholarship Fund in her honor. Our grandmother attended Brandeis University, and was so proud to be a member of the Class of 1959. She attended Brandeis on a partial scholarship, completing her degree in three and a half years, and without that initial $300.00 grant, she would not have been able to attend Brandeis. Our grandmother loved to help others, and her dying wish was to do for someone else what was once done for her, to create an annual scholarship at Brandeis University based on both academic excellence and financial need in her honor. What she didn't know at the time is that in order for this specific scholarship fund to be created, fulfilling her wish in perpetuity, an endowment of $100,000.00 is required.
We love our grandmother dearly and have committed ourselves to doing whatever is necessary to fulfill our grandmother's wish, no matter how long it takes. We plan to raise $100,000.00 so that we can establish the Judith Yohay Glaser Scholarship at Brandeis University to help students like our grandmother, and to honor our grandmother's wish.

We are honored to be have sold signed copies of this memoir for $59 in honor of Judy Yohay Glaser, Brandeis University '59.
